Privacy Policy

The short version
Your credit information never leaves your computer. Redline is desktop software. The reports you import, the letters it drafts, your scores, Social Security digits and everything you type stay on your device. We never receive them.
We keep only what we need to sell you a licence and keep it working: your name, email, a licence record, device codes and download records.
No ads, no tracking pixels, no selling or sharing your information.
01Who we are
Redline is software made and licensed by Built On Dreams LLC. Redline is a software product, not a credit repair service. Questions about this policy: mainfrontlineapp@gmail.com.
02What stays on your device
Everything you put into Redline stays on the computer you installed it on: imported credit reports, account details, findings, drafted letters, attachments, notes, dispute dates and your letterhead. On first use the app also stores, on your device only, the last four digits of your Social Security number and your date of birth from your first accepted report, so it can tell your reports from someone else's. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. If you uninstall Redline or lose the device, that data is gone unless you have your own backup.
03What we collect
- When you send a question on our website: the name and email you enter, any note you add, the time, your approximate country, your browser type, and a salted, shortened hash of your IP address (enough to stop abuse, not enough to identify you).
- When we issue your licence: your full legal name, any previous name you give us for matching your reports, your email, the licence number, a hash of your activation key (never the key itself) and how many devices it allows.
- When you download and activate: download times, the platform you chose, approximate country and the same salted IP hash; and for each device, a device code generated by the app, its platform, operating system version, app version and the times it checks in.
- When you email us: whatever you choose to send.
04Payment information
Payment is handled by Stripe, which receives your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the payment: amount, date, email, billing country, the full legal name you enter for your licence and which computer you chose.
05How we use it
To issue, deliver and activate your licence; to keep it active and stop it being shared beyond the people and devices it covers; to answer you; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to meet legal and tax obligations. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell or rent it.
06Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies or tracking pixels. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from public content networks (cdnjs, jsDelivr), which receive your IP address as part of delivering those files, under their own privacy policies. Your browser may store small settings needed for the page to work.
07Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare runs our licence server and stores licence, device and download records.
- Vercel hosts our website.
- Resend delivers the emails we send you (your licence email and receipts of activation), and Google (Gmail) carries replies you send us.
- Stripe takes payment at checkout and receives your card and billing details directly.
Each processes data only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
08How long we keep things
Licence, device and download records are kept for as long as your licence exists and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. Website requests that never become a licence are deleted or marked dropped and can be erased on request. You can ask us to delete your licence record at any time; doing so ends your licence.
09Your choices and rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing mainfrontlineapp@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have further rights under local law, and we will honour them. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
10Children
Redline is for adults managing their own credit files. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11Where your data is held
Licence records are held on Cloudflare's network, which may process data in the United States and other countries. Your credit information is held only on your own device.
12Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for significant changes we will tell licensed users by email.
